Edit: The Noid was/is the mascot of Domino's Pizza, predominately in the 80's and early 90's. A weird little guy in a rabbit-like suit whose sole purpose was to go around and destroy pizza. However, he could never destroy pizza from Domino's, who sported the idea that you could 'Avoid the Noid' by ordering from them, and always get fresh delivery pizza.
The use of the Noid ended after 1995 due to a man with the last name of Noid holding a Domino's hostage because he believed the Noid was a jab at him. After being placed in a mental institution for three months, he committed suicide, leading to Domino's dropping The Noid as their mascot
However, Domino's has recently been using the Noid again off and on in the last few years.
